I hope everyone had a great week. It’s the weekend and we officially made it! I think we can all agree that this time of the year is busy and we all have a lot of responsibilities between work, family, buying gits, holiday parties, etc. I hope for everyone that you can squeeze in some “me” time or slower moments over the weekend. Whether that means you wake up a bit earlier to have a moment to yourself or you treat yourself to an afternoon nap or book session. It’s important during this time of the year so you don’t get burned out.
I’m hoping for some slower moments this weekend to take in all of the holiday spirit before it’s all over. We’ll be doing some brewery tours over the weekend and lots of organizing that’s been put off. Over the last few weeks, I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite finds I hope you will enjoy and read throughout the weekend:
I must have been living under a rock, but Thrive Market has a great organic wine selection that’s sustainably sourced from artisanal producers. The wines they source are from farming standards that are in line with organic or biodynamic farming principles. Cheers to that!
I recently came a across this great service for sustainable and ethical fashion called Shop Wear Well. It’s basically your typical subscription box, but Shop Wear Well does the work for you when it comes to hunting down great ethical and sustainable brands. If you don’t have a lot of free time but you’re interested in brands that do good, this seems like a great option for you!
As I’ve gotten older and have started to create my own traditions with Alex, this article hit home for me. The Good Trade (one of my favorite websites!) came out with this article. Take a read if you’re feeling the the same.
I know Thanksgiving is over, but Christmas is around the corner and if you are looking for a vegan or healthier version of your favorite staples, the Minimalist Baker is a great resource. I especially love her Vegan Garlic Mashed Cauliflower recipe.
One of my favorite British bloggers, Ropes of Holland, starting a new series – Ageless Ties. The series touches on inter-generational relationships, so relationships with grandparents or older people and how special they can be. These types of relationships are so important and needed, so I highly suggest this read and her series as more posts come out!
Have a great weekend!
