I hope you all are having a lovely long weekend! It’s truly the greatest feeling when you don’t have to be anywhere on a Monday. It’s been non stop with wedding planning this weekend, so I’m excited to take a break and pull together some of my finds through the last couple of weeks. I’m constantly taking screenshots and saving articles as I scroll through social media, so let’s get into it this roundup:
FAVORITE FINDS
I just finished listening to all of the episodes of The Slow Burn Podcast (I believe there is one more episode coming out). It’s very very good. As a 90’s baby, I really didn’t get the specifics on Bill Clinton’s affair with Monica Lewinsky because I was so young, so this was really informative to listen to. It touches upon both sides of the story and soooo much more on Bill Clinton… at least that I knew. It’s really powerful understanding what happened especially in light of the political climate right now.
On Wednesday, I received an email from Reformation letting me know of a collaboration between them and thredUP and became very intrigued. How the collaboration works is you activate a bag on thredUP using their specific Reformation link, fill your bag and send it off. You’ll then earn a Ref 15% shopping credit. You can send your bags up until 12/31/2018. I’m for sure doing this considering I’m cleaning out my closet next weekend!
Gregory Alan Isak just dropped a new album, Evening Machines, and it’s the perfect listen for fall melodies. There’s something soothing about his instrumental tone in his songs and his soft spoken twangy voice.
For any local MA readers a new plant based beer hall, REWILD, just opened up in Quincy Center. I’m sooooo exited considering it’s walking distance from my apartment. I haven’t been yet, but I’m planning to go next weekend. Everything on their menu is plant based and the food is your typical pub food including, tacos, pizzas and fried foods. Not to mention they have a great selection of best local craft beer, wine, kombucha, and artisinal coffee. I’ll report back once I’ve been but everything looks so YUMMY!
There ya have it – I’ll be sporadically pulling together these roundups, so be on the lookout for the next one! Until next time…
