Happy Sunday!
It’s been another low-key weekend so far. Got organized with the apartment, caught up on personal admin, and took a nice long walk in the sun (before we get more snow!) Over this last week, I’ve collected some good informative and fun reads. So let’s get into my latest round up:
Texas certainly needs our support right now, so here is a statewide aid google doc on ways you can help.
If you’re wondering why you run out of breath during video meetings, this might be why (it happens to me a lot!)
Researchers have found that rare-earth materials are in our plastic – and it just goes to show how out of control we’ve gotten with overusing materials from the earth.
This beautiful old farmhouse in Maine is such a joy to look at. What a cool lifestyle to live!
Glennon Doyle recently interviewed Dr. Yaba Blay about Dr. Blay’s book release, One Drop: Challenges narrow perceptions of Blackness as both an identity and lived reality to understand the diversity of what it means to be Black in the US and around the world. It was such an important and educational conversation. I just bought the book and can’t wait until it arrives!
I’ve been on a huge soup kick lately. I recently made this creamy slit pea soup + this mushroom wild rice soup. Both were delicious, plant-based and super creamy. I’m making this creamy veggie soup tonight!
