Happy Friday! The LD Round Up is back this week. How are we all? Has the reality set in? While each day has its ups and downs, I think we’re all adjusting to the way things are now. It’s all that we can do to get through this!
If you saw on my IG stories, you know I’m getting back into yoga. At the end of each day, I’m doing a 20-40 minute yoga class and it feels so nice! Because I don’t have a work commute anymore to transition my work mode to home life, yoga has become a good transition activity. Another thing that’s been helpful is lightning a candle at the end of the day. When the candles are lit, it’s time to sit back + relax with a glass of wine and a good tv show / book.
Let’s get into this week’s finds:
This Amsterdam restaurant allowed visitors into their restaurant by setting up individual greenhouses to keep people apart. It’s so interesting to see what restaurants are going to have to come up with when they re-open.
With the lack of structure when it comes to the work weeks, Mondays aren’t getting such a bad rap anymore. People are saying it’s Wednesdays that’s becoming the dreaded day – do you agree?
Will imagination create a post COVID creative revolution?
This tiny Danish beach cabin is an absolute dream. Beautiful architect, views and design. Take a look!
Read this article on how COVID will change our relationship + design choices with our homes now that we are spending all of our time there.
Do you have a whole bunch of blueberries that need to be eaten up? Try making almond lemon blueberry pie bars (with only 10 ingredients!) from this recipe.
Here is a sustainable brand I recently found that’s priced well: The Summer House. I really like this shirt , these pants and this rustic wooden platter.
Blast this song tomorrow – it will get you in a good mood for Saturday.
The Call Your Girlfriend podcast I listen to started a new series this month around big ideas that are helping us get through these weird times. Their first episode is on resilience and their second episode is about things that scare us. Both are really good topics to help process what’s happening in a healthier way.
I have my eye on this Color At Home coloring book because I’m trying to find other activities that doesn’t involve a screen. It’s perfect for those that have a love of interior design!
