Happy weekend. We made it! This past week has actually been one of my better weeks, mentally. I’m starting to adjust to our new normal. We will never be able to go back to how things were. This pandemic has changed us for forever – and the sooner I realized that, the sooner I came to accept it.
While all of this seems scary and daunting, it’s testing us to come out of this time stronger + better as a community, as nation and as people on this earth. Now, let me be clear. I will continue to have off days and cry and breakdown, but my mindset has shifted slightly and I can feel it’s going in the right direction. Progress!
Alright, I’ll get off of my soapbox 🙂 I made some necessary, but slight changes to the site this week! I updated my menu categories and add new sub-menus. I also launched my collaboration with Nordgreen, so that felt great. I’m having good momentum with The LD at the moment and it feels good. Anyways….
Let’s get into this week’s finds:
With the flowers blooming and the days getting longer, all I want to do is drink wine at a vineyard with friends + family. Luckily, SCRIBE Winery (in Sonoma, CA) is putting out the best IGTV content about their wine. It’s giving me (wine) life.
Feeling off when you ask a family member or friend “how are you?” during a chat because well, we’re dealing with pandemic? Here’s what to ask instead.
Check out this rustic Danish kitchen with cool industrial tones. It gives me a lovely lived in restaurant feel.
During the pandemic, can the zero-waste movement survive? This one’s a good read.
The 1975 came out with a new single (yay!). Take a listen. It’s a good jam with some jazz.
Hang in there.
xx
