To continue with the interior talk, I’m sharing my new obsession within this space: ripple glassware. You might ask…. who cares? But as I start to hone in on the idea of adding well-designed pieces into our home, I’ve become very into this glassware look. Maybe this is what happens when you enter into your late twenties / early thirties. If that’s the case, I’m okay with it!
My obsession really started after Ashley Kane introduced the ripple glassware look on her blog and IG . She created a whole community that loves this design! She’s probably one of my favorite bloggers – authentic and doesn’t oversell. I then started to notice this type of glassware more and more with other people I follow and in interior magazines. I absolutely became influenced and really enjoy this style.
The modern look, yet simple nod to the past with each clean ripple in the glass is what I love about it
Even though I keep talking about this more, the process of adding pieces (big or small) into your home takes time. As I mentioned, I’ve see this type of glassware for a while now. And each time I see it, I gravitate to it more and more. That’s when I know it’s not just a trend for me. For me, the idea is to start collecting unique glassware to one day showcase in my dream kitchen. They will look great on open shelves or behind glass cupboards.
While these small touches may seem trivial to some people, it’s really important to me. I believe it’s what makes a house special, unique and most importantly, a home. Take a look below at some of the ripple glassware I found:
