May: I’m not gonna lie, it’s definitely strange writing out another mood board while still in quarantine. As I look back at my April and even March mood boards, I had no idea what was in store for us. But I’m finally adjusting to this way of life whether it lasts a few weeks or it lasts for a few more months. Truthfully, COVID-19 will be with us for a while, so it’s time I start accepting it and adjusting my habits and routines that will make me feel better.
This month will be about enjoying the little moments and leaning into what feels right. We are moving some things around in the apartment to make the environment feel fresh. I just ordered a new book, In Five Years, and I’m impatiently waiting for it to arrive. That way I can listen to Bad On Paper’s podcast recap & author interview.
I’m also looking forward to:
making spring recipes from scratch
reading outside on our (small) but cute deck
watching more documentaries, history in particular
practicing yoga because since I’m running more often, I need to stretch!
continuing my zoom / facetime calls with friends + family
staying positive and educating myself the best way possible for my mental healthy
enjoying the trees and flowers bloom (despite my allergies)
