Today’s post is all about my Everlane Boss Boot review! I’ve had my eye on these boots for well over a year so after saving up (+ with help from gift cards), I finally made the purchase. I also want to point out that I bought my last pair of black boots almost 10 years a go, so it was time
Let’s get into this:
As I said before, I’ve been seeking out these boots for some time now and the long wait was worth it because I do love theses shoes. The 2 inch heel is perfect for everyday wear and walking. I love how the pointed toe dresses the shoe up, so it still pairs well with going out outfits too. As I get older, I’m not trying to wear super uncomfortable high-heeled shoes anymore. I’ve got no time for that. They’ve been really easy to break into, which I’m so happy about. I thought the narrow toe would cause pain (hi, I have a bunion + it’s it painful), but these were surprisingly comfortable right away.
Color + Size
I got the boots in the color pebbled black and I originally ordered them in a size 7.5, which is my true size. A lot of people in the reviews said to size up a half size because of the narrow fit, but that wasn’t the case for me. The 7.5 were actually too big. There was a lot of space for my feet to move around and the long narrow toe in that size is too long for my 5’2 short height. I returned and ordered a size 7 and it fits great! Another thing to note are the zippers on the shoes take some time to loosen up and zip up smoothly. When I first put on the boots, I could barely move the zipper. After a few wears, they are sliding up nicely.
Return Process
I also have to say the return process was a bit annoying. I hate to be that customer, but when I reordered my shoes with the right size, Everlane sent me the boots in the wrong color and size 🙁 I had to return the shoes again and it took over a week to get the refund to re-purchase. I love Everlane and it was my first time dealing with this type of mishap, so I’ll move on. I get it, mistakes happen. However, I couldn’t write an honest review without mentioning my experience.
Now let’s get into some of my favorite outfits that pair so well with the boss boots.

Ethical Factory
Not only can you style these boots easily with outfits, but these shoes are made with 100% quality leather in Lastra a Signa, Italy. This factory in Italy is located in Florence with just 20 employees known for their uncanny craftsmanship since 1968. The factory is owned by a husband and wife duo, along with their family helping out. They received a 100 on their compliance score and the factory regularly donates to a number of charities. Although there was some issues getting the boots delivered, I do enjoy them and am very happy with my purchase! I highly recommend getting the boots if you need a new pair. I already wear them so often and I can’t wait to style them with some of my spring dresses once it gets a tad warmer. I hope you are all liking these types of reviews. I’ll try to do one for each new sustainable clothing item I purchase.
