Hello! I finally have a bathroom decor update since I last talked about it. Over the last year, we’ve slowly made small changes to our once dark and dingy bathroom into a more bright and airy space. I do want to mention that we rent our apartment, so there’s not a lot we can change with our bathroom that would make it stylistically look better (ie: lights, counter, floors, etc.,). Although there are somethings we could switch out while we are renting, I decided to keep them as in because we won’t be staying here in the long run.
As I mentioned in my inspiration post, our bathroom has no windows so the lighter we can make the place, the better! We switched out our shower curtain and rugs for white to make it bright and got pieces of art and small decor pieces to make it inviting too. Besides the usual bathroom duties, I spend a lot of time in there getting ready and doing my skincare, so I want the bathroom to feel clean and welcoming and NOT dirty or damp.
So there you have it! Nothing major has happened but the small changes we made, has made a huge difference. It’s gotten me so excited when we have a house one day to do a true bathroom transformation. Morale of the story, creating inspiration boards helped me a lot when actually executing on making the decor changes. Plus, it’s a lot fun!
xx
