Fall + Holiday Edit'21

I’m bringing back my seasonal edit series and today, I’m sharing my fall + holiday edit. Everyone’s buzzing about autumn and the start of holiday cheer, and I’m all for it.

Since this is our first year in the house, we’re experiencing it all with fresh eyes and new perspectives. It’s been really fun to decorate the outside of our house with colorful mums, pumpkins and festive wreaths. There’s so much I’m learning – like how to keep mums alive, lol. I’m terrible with plants so LOTS of learnings there. I’m also appreciating the need for patience as I collect my seasonal decor over time. I wish I could buy it all now!

It will be interesting experiencing the holidays in our house…. new traditions to take on and diving into this next chapter. We actually have a fireplace mantle to decorate and hang our stockings! Although we just found out that our fireplace should never be used because it wasn’t properly designed (yayyyyy). Luckily, we can still put a pellet stove in and honestly, it will be easier maintenance. This is all part of homeownership as they say 🙂
