November: Oh, where do I start with this one? I hope everyone is well and most importantly, I hope everyone is taking care of their mental health. As I write this blog post out, it’s my two year wedding anniversary – which brings me so much joy. But it’s also the day before the election, so I’m torn with emotions. I’m trying my best to keep myself busy and only do activities that make me feel better like walking, practicing yoga, reading, listening to calm music, spending time with my husband, etc.
No matter how these next few days turn out with the election, my main goal this month is working on my sleep and waking up earlier. I’ve gotten in such a bad habit of staying up late and sleeping in because I work from home now. I miss having a more formal morning routine and need to get out of the house in the morning. The fresh air is something I’m longing for lately while being inside our apartment all day. I also think fresh air helps clear my mind when it’s filled with stress and anxiety.
Despite the maddening times in our lives, it’s also an exciting month. My older sister is due with her first baby at the end of the month and I’ll hopefully get to celebrate Thanksgiving with my immediate family! And of course, I can’t wait for the holiday mood and cheer.
I’m also looking forward to:
Cozying up by a fire with my latest book
Working on a new (physical mood board) over my desk. It’s time to switch things up for the A / W seasons.
Searching for the perfect secondhand oversized sweaters
Continuing to add autumn and winter decor accents to the apartment. I’ve been slowly changing out pieces and it’s starting to come together
Creating a holiday tablescape for a mini thanksgiving
FALL EDIT
Take it easy this month.
xx Christine
