September: A fresh start to a new season, crisp air, cozy layers + warm drinks. I for one, am all about that. As many people have been saying, September feels like a new beginning, especially when you can feel a change in the air.
As much as I enjoy summer, I adore the fall season. It’s such a nostalgic time for me — feelings of going back to school, heading to Ireland for my time abroad + getting back into my cozy roots.
I’m really excited to get outside as much as I can this month. Unfortunately, I’m prepping for another lock down, especially as the temperature gets colder. So that means more walks / runs, picnics, alfresco dinning, etc. Oh, and to keep exploring and going on New England road trips.
This month, I’m also looking forward to:
Going apple picking on a crisp sunny day.
Drinking wine by a bonfire.
Waking up earlier to set a better routine for creativity
Visiting my local farmers market (going this Friday!) to cook all of the fresh veggies. I’ve been on a cooking kick recently.
Speaking of food, baking my first apple pie (because why not?)
Appreciating the small moments to get through this insane year we’re experiencing.
Flipping through FOLK Magazine’s two latest issues: Autumn + Slow Living. My two favorite things.
Listening to my fall folk + fall playlists.
MY FALL WISH LIST
Enjoy September!
xx
