I do gather some data from everyone who visits, comments, signs up for the newsletter or contacts me through the site – none of this information is shared with outside parties.
DATA COLLECTION
Your information is collected when you choose to leave a COMMENT on The Lavender Daily or contact me through the CONTACT FORM. Some of your information is collected (Name, Email and IP Address) to ensure you are a real person and to maintain the safety of the site. This information is stored under password protection within my WordPress and Blue Host accounts. I don’t do anything with it unless the comment is deemed to be spam or offensive, in which case it will be deleted.
Newsletters: If you sign up for The LD’s newsletter, your email and name (or any other information you choose to disclose) will be stored in my password protected Mail Chimp account solely for the purpose of delivering The Lavender Daily’s newsletters. If you wish to unsubscribe or edit your information you may do so at any time. There are links to make these changes at the bottom of every email I send.
